The Kami Band

The Kami Band is the collective name for the musicians who perform BABYMETAL’s live instrumentation. Its personnel rotates; it is not a permanently announced four-person group.

Accuracy note: BABYMETAL does not publish a permanent official Kami roster. “Recent” below describes musicians identified in contemporary touring configurations, not new core members of BABYMETAL.

METALVERSE in 2026

METALVERSE is an independent multiverse project with its own songs and performances. The concept was first glimpsed during “Doki Doki ☆ Morning” at BABYMETAL RETURNS on January 28–29, 2023. Its first officially announced appearance under the METALVERSE name followed at SUMMER SONIC Tokyo on August 20, 2023.

Its official current biography identifies three members.

METALVERSE VΛND PROJECT

MVP is a flexible girls-band concept supporting different METALVERSE appearances. Its musicians can change from one performance to another.
