Ayami Muto began working as a child model and performer before joining Karen Girl’s. In 2010 she became a founding member of Sakura Gakuin and later served as its first Student Council President, helping establish the customs inherited by later graduating classes.
After graduating in 2012, Muto launched a solo career and released the album “Eien to Shunkan” in 2014. She later paused her career to study abroad, then returned with a musical direction influenced by the Japanese pop of the 1980s.
In 2026 she remains active as a solo singer. Her 30th-birthday Billboard Live Yokohama concert on April 29 included a guest appearance by Yuhane Yamazaki.
