BABYMETAL is celebrating the first anniversary of METAL FORTH, the group’s fourth studio album, which was released on August 8, 2025.
Marking the occasion on their official X account, BABYMETAL thanked fans for making the album’s first year special and looked ahead to the next stage of the journey.

A collaboration-driven chapter
METAL FORTH brought BABYMETAL together with artists from across the modern rock and metal world. Its ten tracks include collaborations with Poppy, Electric Callboy, Slaughter to Prevail, Bloodywood, Polyphia, Spiritbox and Tom Morello.
The album includes “from me to u,” “RATATATA,” “Song 3,” “Kon! Kon!,” “KxAxWxAxIxI,” “Sunset Kiss,” “My Queen,” “Algorism,” “METALI!!” and “White Flame.” Together, the songs reflect the album’s central idea of moving metal forward through encounters with different artists and styles.
The journey continues
BABYMETAL’s anniversary message presents the past year as another step rather than an ending. The group closed its message by thanking fans for the experiences already shared and teasing that there is still more to come.
