Day 2 of LuckyFes’26 is underway at Hitachi Seaside Park in Ibaraki, Japan, with METALVERSE scheduled to perform at 2:30 p.m. JST before BABYMETAL closes the Rainbow Stage from 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, August 9 brings both groups to the same festival bill as LuckyFes celebrates its fifth anniversary with four consecutive days of music. More than 150 acts are appearing across the full event, which runs from August 8 through August 11.
BABYMETAL and METALVERSE performance times
The official Day 2 timetable places METALVERSE on the Garden Stage in the afternoon, while BABYMETAL receives the final slot on the festival’s main Rainbow Stage.

Other Day 2 performers include ILLIT, NiziU, CANDY TUNE, CUTIE STREET, ME:I, MyGO!!!!!, Phantom Siita, Paledusk, RAISE A SUILEN and Survive Said The Prophet, giving the day a broad mix of pop, idol and heavy music.
What fans can watch online
ABEMA’s free exclusive broadcast of LuckyFes Day 2 begins at 10:00 a.m. JST. However, neither BABYMETAL nor METALVERSE appears on the official list of 61 artists selected for the four-day livestream as of publication.
This means fans should not expect either complete performance to be shown during the official broadcast unless the streaming lineup changes. LuckyFes notes that the participating artists remain subject to change and that the number of streamed songs varies by performer.
A busy week in Japan
LuckyFes begins another active run of Japanese appearances for BABYMETAL. The group is also scheduled for CANNONBALL GAIDEN in Tokyo on August 10, followed by SUMMER SONIC dates in Osaka on August 14 and Chiba on August 16.
