Highlights
- BABYMETAL headlined the SONIC “METAL” STAGE, a special stage curated by the group.
- The curated stage also featured mgk, PENDULUM, Ave Mujica, THE WARNING, SOUTH ARCADE and METALVERSE.
- BABYMETAL performed a 12-song set, opening with “BABYMETAL DEATH” and closing with “Road of Resistance”.
- During “Monochrome”, the audience illuminated the venue with phone lights.
- A large circle pit formed during “METALI!!”, followed later by a wall of death during “Road of Resistance”.
- SU-METAL thanked SUMMER SONIC for its 25th anniversary and reflected on BABYMETAL’s history with the festival since 2012.
