Biografía

Yume Nozaki was born on November 15, 2007, in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. She began working in entertainment at a very young age. In a 2022 interview, Yume explained that her mother had submitted her for entertainment work when she was little and that she had already been doing small professional jobs for so long that working in the industry felt normal to her by the time she was old enough to remember it clearly. Archival material also records early child-model work, including participation as a Kids-Tokei image model in 2013.

Around 2015, Yume became affiliated with Amuse. When she left the company in March 2024, she described having spent nine years with the agency, placing the beginning of her Amuse period around this time. She continued working as a child model and young talent before moving into idol performance.

On May 6, 2018, Yume joined Sakura Gakuin as a fifth-grade transfer student alongside Sana Shiratori and Kokona Nonaka. At the time she was one of the youngest and shortest members of the group, entering at a listed height of 127 cm. She later recalled that becoming a Sakura Gakuin member was particularly meaningful because she had dreamed of becoming an idol since childhood and had even written in her kindergarten graduation album that she wanted to become an idol who was good at dancing.

During her first Sakura Gakuin school year, Yume became a member of the Art Club performance unit trico dolls alongside Yuzumi Shintani and Momoe Mori. The unit performed the song “C’est la vie,” which appeared on Sakura Gakuin’s 2018 school-year album and was performed at Sakura Gakuin Festival 2018 and The Road to Graduation 2018.

Yume continued developing as a singer, dancer and television personality through Sakura Gakuin’s 2019 school year. Like the other members, she took part in the group’s concerts, public classes, FRESH! Monday programming, annual albums and live productions while continuing her schooling in Aichi.

The COVID-19 pandemic significantly altered Sakura Gakuin’s final period. The end of the 2019 school year was delayed, and the group’s 2020 school year became its last. On September 14, 2020, Yume was appointed PR Chairperson as part of Sakura Gakuin’s final Student Council. In that role, she became one of the eight members responsible for carrying the group through its tenth-anniversary and final-year activities.

Outside Sakura Gakuin, Yume continued appearing in Amuse youth-oriented content. She became a regular performer on the YouTube channel Ponstarland, where she appeared both individually and alongside her younger sister Juna Nozaki. The videos included dance performances, entertainment challenges, fashion and beauty content, and episodes centered on Yume’s interest in studying. Her strong academic results became one of the characteristics frequently associated with her public personality.

In April 2021, Yume appeared in Takara Tomy’s Licca-chan “Yumeiro Make Himari-chan” dance video and dance-lesson video. Later that year, trico dolls was revived for one night at Sakura Gakuin Summer LIVE 2020, with Yume performing “C’est la vie” in a new lineup alongside Kokona Nonaka and Neo Sato.

Yume performed at Sakura Gakuin The Final ~Yume ni Mukatte~ at Nakano Sunplaza on August 29, 2021. Sakura Gakuin formally completed all activities at the end of August, making Yume one of the eight members of the group’s final class.

After Sakura Gakuin ended, Yume remained with Amuse and began expanding into new areas of entertainment. She continued appearing in Ponstarland content and participated in Amuse youth-training activities. She also appeared in promotional material connected with Amuse’s OYM dance and vocal workshops.

Her most significant post-Sakura role arrived in 2022. Yume was cast as Tsutsuji, one of the three main characters in WIT STUDIO’s original television anime Onipan!, broadcast as part of TV Tokyo’s Oha Suta beginning in April 2022. The role marked Yume’s first professional voice-acting performance.

Yume described the transition into voice acting as initially difficult. She explained that matching her voice to the animation while simultaneously reading the script and performing the character was challenging during her first recording sessions. As production continued, however, she became increasingly comfortable with the process and began enjoying the recording sessions.

Together with Mika Negishi, who voiced Himawari, and fellow Sakura Gakuin graduate Kokona Nonaka, who voiced Tsuyukusa, Yume formed the three-member unit Onipan’s!. The group performed the anime’s theme song “Onipapapan! Pan!” and made its official CD debut on June 1, 2022. Through Onipan’s!, Yume combined voice acting with singing, choreography, television appearances, promotional events and live performances.

In 2022, Yume was also selected as a participant in AMUSE CAMP α, Amuse’s development program for young artists from Generation Z and Generation Alpha. The program provided training across singing, dance and performance and included other young Amuse talents from a variety of entertainment backgrounds.

During 2023, Yume expanded further into television variety programming. She appeared on Nippon TV’s Chou Muteki Class, including broadcasts in January and June, sometimes appearing alongside her younger sister Juna. She also reunited with Sakura Gakuin alumni through Amuse+ programming, appearing with Yuzumi Shintani and Kokona Nonaka in GAME HOUSE episodes produced around the Amuse+ anniversary period.

Another chapter began in August 2023. Yume appeared as one of the performers in METALVERSE’s expanded five-person stage formation alongside Miko Todaka, Sakia Kimura, Kokona Kato and Miki Yagi. The five-member formation appeared at SUMMER SONIC Tokyo on August 20 and subsequently at METALVERSE#1 – UNBOXING at Spotify O-EAST on August 24 and 25.

At that stage, METALVERSE deliberately did not officially publish individual member identities, so Yume was never formally announced by name as a permanent METALVERSE member. However, the five performers were publicly identifiable at the concerts, and Yume continued appearing with the same formation through METALVERSE’s live activities. This distinction is useful historically: she was clearly part of the project’s stage lineup, but the organization itself had not yet defined a conventional fixed-membership structure.

Yume returned with the five-member formation for METALVERSE#2 – THE END OF THE INNOCENCE at Toyosu PIT on February 10 and 11, 2024. Live footage from this period was subsequently released for songs including “Crazy J” and “Naked Princess,” preserving Yume’s final major professional performances.

On March 31, 2024, Yume ended her contract with Amuse after approximately nine years with the agency. In her farewell message, she explained that the decision was her own and that she felt she needed to move to the next stage of her life in order to pursue her own dreams and what she genuinely wanted to do.

She also announced that the Instagram and TikTok accounts she had shared with her sister under the Yume Juna identity would thereafter become Juna-only accounts. Rather than announcing an unequivocal permanent retirement from public life, Yume said she intended to continue working hard on her studies and hoped that she would be able to meet her supporters again someday.

Following her departure from Amuse, Yume stopped regular public entertainment activities. No new agency affiliation, acting role, musical project or professional performance has been publicly confirmed through August 2026.

In 2026, a public post from her sister Juna’s account congratulated Yume on graduating from high school. Beyond occasional family references of this kind, Yume has remained outside professional entertainment and largely outside public life. Her most recent confirmed career chapter therefore remains her departure from Amuse and the conclusion of her METALVERSE activities in March 2024.
