METALVERSE performed a six-song set at SUMMER SONIC 2026 Tokyo on August 16, appearing on the SONIC “METAL” STAGE at Makuhari Messe.
The stage was officially curated by BABYMETAL and brought together a metal-focused lineup that also included BABYMETAL, mgk, Pendulum, Ave Mujica, The Warning and South Arcade.

MVP—the METALVERSE VΛND PROJECT—was launched in 2026 as a flexible girls’ band concept featuring a changing lineup of new-generation musicians. The SUMMER SONIC performance gave the Tokyo audience a chance to see this configuration supporting METALVERSE on one of the festival’s major indoor stages.
