METALVERSE performed a compact six-song set at LuckyFes’26 on Sunday, August 9, bringing “GIZA,” “Shoot Shoot Shoot” and several live favorites to the Garden Stage at Hitachi Seaside Park.
The group appeared at 2:30 p.m. JST during the festival’s second day in Ibaraki, Japan. BabyMetalTube’s live report also confirmed the four musicians accompanying METALVERSE as part of the rotating METALVERSE VΛND PROJECT.
LuckyFes shares a pre-show video from METALVERSE
Minutes before the performance, LuckyFes published a 15-second pre-show video from METALVERSE. The festival’s official post reminded fans that the group was scheduled to appear on the Garden Stage at 2:30 p.m. JST.

The festival set opened with “Crazy J” and moved through a mixture of established material and the project’s newest songs. “GIZA,” released as METALVERSE’s first official digital single in May, occupied the middle of the performance.
“Shoot Shoot Shoot” appeared immediately before the closing “Naked Princess.” The new track will serve as the opening theme for the original CloverWorks animated feature GROTESQQQUE, which is scheduled to open in Japanese theaters on November 6, 2026.
MVP VΛND lineup introduced during “OMIKUJI”
During “OMIKUJI,” the METALVERSE performers and the day’s MVP VΛND musicians were introduced to the LuckyFes audience. The instrumental lineup consisted of:
- Li-sa-X — guitarra
- Hazuki — guitarra
- IMPACTO YUNIKA — bajo
- Kanade Sato — batería
All four musicians are also members of KOIAI. Their appearance together demonstrates the flexible concept behind METALVERSE VΛND PROJECT: the official announcement describes MVP as a dream girls’ band whose instrumental lineup can change from one performance to another.
A shared festival day with BABYMETAL
